Craft Directions for: Builder Bear Father's Day Card (with coupons for Dad)

Supplies needed to make Builder Bear Father's Day Card:
How to make Builder Bear Father's Day Card :

Craft pages: Page 1, Page 2, and tools

11 X 17" sheet of construction paper.

Crayons, markers or paint.

Stickers (tools or other stickers) (optional)

Scissors.

Glue Sticks or paste.

Print: Craft all pages on 8-1/2 X 11" paper.

Color: Children color all craft pages.

Cut: Page 1: Cut slit on bear's hand (where you will insert smaller tools). Page 2: Cut slit on the top line of the rectangle that says "Coupons for Dad" (where you will insert large tools on rectangle shape). Tools: Cut closely around small tools. Cut apart large tools on rectangle shapes. Help children write words on tools of things that they want to give their dad, such as "two hugs, 3 kisses, help with building, help with yard, help making lunch, homemade chocolate sundae", etc.

Fold: Fold 11 X 17" sheet of construction paper in half crosswise to make card.

Glue: Glue Bear without coupons (craft page 1) on front of card, but do not glue in area beneath hand, so you can insert tools. Glue bear with rectangle that says coupons (craft page 2) on inside of card, but do not place glue beneath rectangle that says "coupons", so you can insert coupon tools.

• Finish: Insert small tools in Dad's hands, insert large tools into coupon rectangle.  Add stickers. Sign your name on the bottom of the card.

Give to Dad for Father's Day!
