Noah's Ark

Craft Instructions

STICKERS - You can make some of the crafts into restickable stickers to use as a prop for teaching the lessons. (Ex., Tools for Noah - Day 1, Animals for Inside the Ark - Day 3, Noah's Family color stickers - Day 3, Dove with Leaf - Day 4). Some of the stickers only come in b&w (animals inside ark stickers). You can also use all of these, as well as the trading card stickers, Three- Animals Easy Ark - Day 3 stickers, Raindrops stickers - Day 3. Just print on inkjet sticker paper, and cut apart to make stickers, or use glue sticks (restickable kind of glue). See individual lessons for how to use the stickers with the lessons, and more ideas for props when teaching.

Instructions:

Print off heads (male and female) and bodies. Make copies, making sure you have enough bodies for the heads.

Color animal bodies and heads.

Glue animal bodies onto cardboard, (heads are optional). Let dry. Cut out heads and bodies, cutting all the way to the edge of the paper for the stand.

If you made enlarged copies, and the stand its not long enough to join ends, cut another strip of cardboard and staple on the back. Staple or tape stand ends together to form an oval shape.

Tape or staple hands together of the matching male and female animals.

Instructions:

Print and make copies of craft pages. (Tip: Print on card stock for easier method if using ark pieces as pattern pieces.

Either color all pages, cut out and use as is. OR use ark pieces as patterns to cut out of construction paper: Glue ark pieces onto cardboard if you didn't use cardstock to print. Cut out ark pattern pieces. Lay pattern pieces on top of construction paper, and trace around pieces. Cut out. (Cut these ahead of time for toddler age).

Glue middle ark (rectangle) onto the back of the ark bottom. Fold top of ark in half lengthwise. Place glue on the inside at the fold, extending 1/2" down. Sandwich middle piece in between, so ark roof sticks out from the middle section, on both front and back).

Glue animals on top, on both or one side. (If using only one side, ark roof may just be glued onto the back side, to let the front stick out).

Write the words on top and bottom of ark, such as "Comfy and Safe on Noah's Ark", or "God Keeps Us Safe, Trust in Him", etc.

Instructions:

Instructions:

PREP: Print and make copies of game pages. Cut apart tools (just rectangle shapes). Hide around the room.

HOW TO PLAY: Explain that Noah lost his tools. He needs the children to help them find his tools.

Let children have some time to find the tools. Help the younger ones, or anyone who doesn't seem to be finding any. Have extras on hand to give to kids who don't have many.

Give prizes to everybody at the end of the game (I give the same amount of prizes no matter how many they find because they all did their best :).

Instructions:

PREP: Print and make copies of game pages. (You need 2 of the same sheets for each game). You can have them match males and females or exactly the same animals.

Cover with contact paper (optional). Cut off excess around edges. Cut apart male and female animals.

HOW TO PLAY: Lay all game pieces out, face down on a table. Taking turns, each child turns over two cards at a time. If they do not match, they have to turn the cards back over. If its a match, they take the cards, and they get to keep going, turning over two more cards at a time, until they no longer have a match. Help children by telling them to try to remember where each animal was.
