caterpillar
Caterpillar page Caterpillar in Cocoon - Prep: Print and make copies of craft page. Use b&w pages for children's craft, illustrated pages to use during lesson). Place thick sheet of paper behind cocoon before cutting out, so you have two cocoon shapes. (You will be placing caterpillar between two layers of the cocoon shapes). Craft: Children color caterpillar (and cocoon if desired). Cut out caterpillar and cocoon (2 at a time, as above). Tape around edges of cocoon in a few places, leaving one side open to insert caterpillar and butterfly. (See lesson instructions for how to use this craft for lesson).

Butterfly Puppet page Butterfly Puppet - Prep: Print Butterfly Puppet craft page. Make copies of craft page onto white, colored or paper with a print. Cut the same type of paper (that you used to make copies) into rectangles (about 8" wide X the length of your butterfly's body). (You may not be able to use stickers if you use designer paper, if the designer paper clashes with sticker design). Craft: Children color butterfly. Help children roll rectangles and tape closed, then tape onto the back of the butterfly, aligning with the middle of the body. How to Use: Children insert hand or a few fingers and move up and down to make the butterfly's wings flap to "fly" butterfly. (See lesson instructions for how to use this craft for lesson).

crosswithkids
Stickers page Kids on Cross - Prep: Print and make copies of kid stickers page. (You will only use a 1/2 sheet and need 1 picture per each 2 children). I recommend using b&w pages for children's craft, illustrated pages to use during lesson. Cut stickers page in half on solid line. Print cross and use as a pattern to make cross shapes out of different colors of construction paper or colored copy paper. (Tip: You can cut more than one layer at a time if you staple a few layers of construction paper together first). Craft: Give each child the 1/2 sheet of stickers and a cross shape. Children color stickers. Help children cut out stickers. Children place restickable gluestick glue on the back of stickers. Allow to dry before sticking on cross.
