Ministry Ideas for Crafts :

Ministry - Make the cards or pictures as a ministry project - have the children make them for a craft, then go as a group to personally deliver the cards to children in the hospital or foster home. You can even take along baskets with treats, balloons, invitations to church, etc.

Easter Lamb with Moveable Arms and Legs
Supplies:

Prep: Print and make copies of craft pages.

Craft: Children color lamb parts. Help children attach arms and legs with brass fasteners, and glue head on the top.

Lamb's Easter Adventure Rhyming Story Booklet

Supplies:
Directions:
Booklet - Page 1 Prep: Print and make copies of Booklet page 1 and page 2. Print on card stock or heavier paper for studier booklets. Cut apart pages. Put pages in numerical order with cover on top. Align. Staple at top. Craft: Children color booklet cover and pages. Add stickers (optional).

Tissue Paper Cross and Lamb
Supplies: Prep: Print and make copies of craft page. (Print on card stock or heavier paper for a sturdier craft) or glue to foam sheet or construction paper to add firmness and color border (where the backing is larger). Cut 1-1/2" X 1 1/2" or 2" X 2" squares of tissue paper. (Make a sample to get an idea of how many you will need for your class). Craft: Children color picture (except cross). Place glue on one small section of the cross at a time. Show children how to scrunch up tissue squares and place on cross (area with glue). You can also add tissue paper to the middle of the flowers. Glue entire picture onto construction paper or fun foam (Optional).

Roll-Away Stone Craft (b&w only)

Supplies:

Note: For children 3 or younger, please use tape instead of the brass fastener to attach stone, as the brass fasteners are a choking hazard.

Prep: Print and make copies of craft page. Cut out stone and accessories for children. Please be careful to keep scissors out of reach of children if you are cutting during craft time. Craft: Children color craft page and accessories. Attach tomb stone to tomb on right side with brass fastener for children age 4+. (Use tape instead for young children). Help children glue cross on hill. Repeat concepts of Resurrection story when showing children how to use craft.

Lamb Picture Frame
Supplies:

Prep: Two weeks before tell parents about the craft, and have their child bring a photo of themselves and the person they will make the frame for. Have a sign-up sheet for parents to give you their email addresses if they want a reminder. To make it more of a surprise, another option is to take digital photos of the children the week before and print from your computer before class. Print and make copies of craft page.

Craft: Children color frame. Cut out frame and center of frame for children. Help children fold frame and insert picture behind top layer. Center photo and tape photo into place. Fold down top tabs and tape. Child adds stickers or colors a design on the frame.

Supplies

Prep: Print 2 of craft page. Make copies of craft page onto heavy paper. Use other craft page as a pattern to cut out bag backs. Use staples to hold in place while cutting. Cut out treat bags.

Craft: Children color craft. Help children tape sides and bottom of bags together. Place stickers on the back. Fill with candy or stickers for children.
