Warnings for the End Times / Last Days
God has many words of warnings for believers. I've listed some below, and tell you what they're about, giving a brief synopsis.
Passages that warn us regarding the Last Days.
Matthew 24:4-8 Jesus said to be careful that no one deceives us. There will be many false christs, false teachers and false prophets. And not to be afraid in times of tribulation and war comes.
Revelation 2:3-5 3 You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary. 4 Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. 5 Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. NIV
2 Thessalonians 2:12-17 Don't be alarmed by teaching that is not in the Bible. Don't let anybody deceive you or tell you that the Lord Jesus has already come. The man of lawlessness will oppose God and say he is God, and use miracles to try to deceive people. Stand firm and hold fast to the Bible's teachings.
Revelation 13:9 Some Christians will be sent to prison or killed. Remember it's only your body. Those in Christ will be with Jesus when they die!
Psalm 71:5-21 God is our hope, our refuge. Though we will have to go through many trials and tribulation, and some of us will be martyred for Christ's sake, he will restore our life again, increase our honor and comfort us again.
Luke 12:1-4 Be on guard that you are not a hypocrite, saying you believe one thing and doing another. God knows our hearts. All will be revealed. Don't let your love grow cold. Matthew 24:12-13 Endure to the end.
Matthew 24:9-14 Don't be offended or mad at God if you have to go through many trials, much persecution, even killed. Be willing to suffer and die for Jesus. This life is only temporary. Don't let your love grow cold. Endure to the end. Believe in God's promises.
Matthew 24:23-31 Don't believe anyone when they tell you Jesus is somewhere. When he returns all will know it and all will see him. You won't have to go anywhere. All those who are his will be with him. He sends his angels to come and gather us.
Matthew 24: 42-44 Be ready. We don't know when Jesus is coming back for us. Keep oil in your lamp so it can burn bright. Matthew 25:1-13 Parable of the 10 virgins. Matthew 25:1-13. Don't hide it under a basket.
Matthew 25:14-30 Be a faithful servant.

1 Cor 16:13-14 - Stand firm. Do everything in love.
1 Thessalonians 3:2-4 2 We sent Timothy, who is our brother and co-worker in God's service in spreading the gospel of Christ, to strengthen and encourage you in your faith, 3 so that no one would be unsettled by these trials. For you know quite well that we are destined for them. 4 In fact, when we were with you, we kept telling you that we would be persecuted. And it turned out that way, as you well know. NIV
1 Thessalonians 4:1-12 Lead holy lives, love each other, work hard.
1 Thes 5:1-24 The Day of the Lord will come suddenly. Be alert. Use the armor God gives us. God appointed his children to be saved through the Lord Jesus Christ. Rejoice, pray continually, give thanks in everything. Don't stifle the Spirit. Reject all evil. God will sanctify those who are in Christ.
2 Timothy 3:12 In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, 13 while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, 15 and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of Goda may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. NIV
Revelation 3:1-3 1 "To the angela of the church in Sardis write: These are the words of him who holds the seven spiritsb of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. 2Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God. 3Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you. NIV
Revelation 3:14-20 14 "To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God's creation. 15 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. 17 You say, 'I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.' But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. 18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. 19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. 20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. NIV
